Not included: running your code; API keys or exchange access; fixing or rewriting the strategy; parameter optimization; trading signals; personalized investment advice; full backtest reproduction; certification of absence of leakage; legal/tax/regulatory review; guarantee of finding every bug.
I perform methodological risk screening on what you provide — not exhaustive detection of all errors.
Evidence verdicts
Insufficient evidence — material gaps (e.g. no OOS, failed null, high leakage risk) block treating the backtest as supportive.
Exploratory evidence — some structure, but high risk of overfitting or under-powered samples; more pre-registered work needed.
Candidate for prospective validation — methodology is relatively sound on paper; paper trading or forward test still required — not a green light for live capital.
I never use buy/sell/deposit language or performance promises.

CSV: max 5 MB, max 100,000 rows
Notebook / code snippet: max 200 lines, superficial static review only
Supporting docs (PDF/Markdown): max 3 files, 2 MB each
Total bundle: 15 MB unless agreed in writing
Oversized submissions may be rejected or trimmed with your consent; clock pauses until resubmission.
Privacy, encryption & deletion
Materials are used only to produce your report and one clarification round.
Do not email CSV, code, or notebooks. Proton Mail (`hello@backtestevidence.com`) is for messages and links only; mail to/from non-Proton addresses is not automatically end-to-end encrypted.
After verified payment I create an empty Proton Drive folder for your engagement and email a temporary Editor share link. I revoke that link when files are received. I never publish a permanent link or share the Drive root.
Working copies deleted within 14 days of final report unless you request earlier deletion.
Client CSV/code is not pasted into external AI tools.
Payment records kept as required by Stripe / accounting law; I do not store card numbers.
Do not send credentials. If you accidentally send secrets, notify me immediately.
Buy via secure Stripe checkout. Terms and Privacy are accepted there. Asking before buying is optional.
After I verify payment in Stripe, I email the client intake link and a temporary Proton Drive Editor folder link. Intake is not linked from the public thank-you page.
For consumers, any express request to begin during the withdrawal period is collected in intake/email before substantive work — not replaced by Stripe’s general Terms acceptance alone.
Report within 2 business days of complete intake; then optional clarification round.
Maximum 3 founding slots. If a purchase is clearly out of scope before substantive work, refunds follow the terms.
